Obama's "Historic" Meeting With Atheist Groups a Who's-Who of Anti-Christian Bigots...

Obama's an atheist himself (remember during the campaign when the MSM would call him a "devout" Christian?) and I guaran-fucking-tee you he has nearly identical views as these anti-Christian radicals...

(CNW)- The advocacy group In God We Trust today ripped the Obama administration for meeting to plot political strategy with 60 atheist activists representing organizations comprising the Secular Coalition of America.

"It is one thing for Administration to meet with groups of varying viewpoints, but it is quite another for a senior official to sit down with activists representing some of the most hate-filled, anti-religious groups in the nation,"says In God We Trust's Chairman Bishop Council Nedd.

Tina Tchen, the director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, will meet with representatives from groups that comprise the Coalition. The Coalition's sponsoring organization's include American Atheists, founded by Madalyn Murray O'Hare and the Freedom from Religion Foundation which is campaigning to stop the post office from issuing a stamp honoring Mother Theresa.

"President Obama seems to believe that it is a good idea to have a key senior aide plan political strategy with people who believe faith in God is a disease,"Nedd says. "Some of the people in this coalition believe the world would be better off with no Christians and no Jews and they aren't shy about it. The fact that this meeting is happening at all is an affront to the vast majority of people of all faiths who believe in God."

According to the Freedom from Religion Foundation's President Dan Barker, "Christianity is an enemy to humanity, and the antithesis of freedom." (Dan Barker, Freedom from Religion Foundation Co-President in Losing Faith in Faith Page 255) and "Religion also poses a danger to mental health, damaging self-respect, personal responsibility, and clarity of thought." (Losing Faith in Faith Page 217.)

Madalyn Murray OHare declared, "Ours is a time when successful struggle against this reactionary philosophy requires more than a petulant argument over the authorship of the Gospels, more than a negative attack on the totalitarian and monolithic authoritarianism of conventional religion, but rather an aggressive action program to spread the positive philosophy of materialism." (Source: American Atheists website.)

"The President should tell the American people whether he believes these groups' hate-filled views to be 'mainstream' and worthy of his supposedly inclusive administration," Nedd says.

Why reverse it? It doesn't cause them or anybody else suffering. In fact if you look at the stats gays are more likely to be successful, creative and happy than us breeders. That is like saying let's find the gene for left-handedness and reverse it.

Religionists and atheists both hate each other and stereotype each other as hateful bigots. Have any of you ever actually sat down and talked to an atheist? Most are pretty normal people and if they are angry, just resent what they perceive as the intrusion of religion in govt or their lives and/or being attacked by the relgious folks.

One of our major gripes with religion is it's use in oppressing people and repressing critical thinking and the open exchange of ideas. Islam is the number one culprit of that. It is a violent and awful POS belief system. It makes crazy fundamentalist Christians look like champions of free thought.

Without any stipulations I will say that Islam is wicked and awful.

I like Buddhism. That is a pretty good belief system.

Personally, the atheists I've met only give a rat's rip about 'theists' when they feel threatened by them - mainly as the 'theists' (of what EVER flavor, and yes, some are MUCH more annoying than others) are fond of trying to shove their BELIEFS down the throats of others as FACTS - "Life begins at conception" and "Intelligent design" for openers. If the "Christians" acted more, well, Christian, I think there would be a lot less anger / fear all the way around.

I have a friend who is an atheist. One day I snuck up on him and another of his atheist friends discussing "If you had a choice to kill all Christians or all Scientists, who would you choose to exterminate?". Once you're dead, what does all this fighting over religion really matter?

(As in the famous line from the 1973 movie, National Lampoon's Lemmings, "Long hair. Short hair. What's the difference once the head's blown off?" Or, as Jimi Hendricks said, "I'm the one that's got to die when it's time for me to die. So let me live my life the way I want toooooo.")

Once you're dead, either you end up in "nothingness", or, you find the truth revealed. It seems to me that most people who believe in God do so to hedge their bets. Very, very few people have had that epiphany where God is reavealed to them as reality. Fewer still are the spiritual Masters like Jesus Christ, or saints and sages who can attest to the reality of the Godhead Creator.

If you believe in an All Forgiving Creator, then nothing happens to you when you die. Everything you did in your life is forgiven. So why not do anything you want to do? If you believe in Karma, the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Consequences, EVERYTHING you do has consequences and you'd better watch your step.

If I was from another planet (and who knows, maybe I am) and I saw all these people on Earth fighting and torturing and killing each other over whether or not they believe in God, or if God exists, or killing each other for not believing what they believe, or believing in their religion, I'd turn around and go home rather than land my space ship on this Hellhole of a planet.

(Like my ex-wife. Beautiful to look at, but way too evil to be around.)

If souls can incarnate on any planet they choose, Earth, at least right now, with all of the vicious, ignorant and immature souls here, has to be the anus of the Universe, or certainly the chamber pot/toilet of the universe, where all the losers in Creation end up (and yes, I meant that pun).

I think some atheists are afraid that there actually may be a Creator and that their actions may have consequences and that's what gets them angry at believers. Some think that they are their egos. The rest of the atheists are just ignorant. Ignorance of God is what one great spiritual master/avatar called "the greatest sin". ("Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." still doesn't mean there aren't consequences one must face.)

In the East, Yogis teach that God cannot be "proven" by one to another, only experienced. It must be experienced personally in a revelation (the prayer is: "Heavenly Father, reveal Thyself"). Maybe they have something there? After all, Rishis and Yogis have been at it for some 7,000 years. That's a 2,000 year head start on Christ and Christianity. But what did Christ teach that's any different?

If God is omnipresent and omnicient, then It knows what's in the heart of every soul. What does that mean? What does that portend? What does that reveal in you?

I said it was a fitting ending for her family to be killed off by another Atheist maybe if they had believed in God no one would have killed them for money. The deaths themselves were wrong but fitting for a person who praised the dollar to fall by the dollar. They preached hate they wanted God taken out of everything take God out of life and there is no one to answer to for your mortal sins.
Organized Religion keeps people from reverting back to our savage basic instincts. The less religion in the world present day Muslim excluded for their lack of a moral compass when it comes to murdering anyone and everyone who refuses to convert to Islam.
The O’Hare family were screwing people over and telling them to forget God.
Sure there are plenty of people who screw others over in the name of God as well.

I just find it ironic that they were killed off by people who at one point believed God kept him from being low life barbaric killer’s and the O’Hare’s convinced them there was no God no one to ever answer to in your after life. You could do what ever you wanted you only have this life. Live it to the fullest.

I beg to differ. I am an atheist, raised on Christian values, to which I still adhere. The Golden Rule is the most perfect lesson for anyone to follow.
