(Telegraph)- Radical Muslim gangs are imposing a form of sharia law inside some of Britain's prisons, a BBC investigation has found.

Non-Muslim inmates at the high-security Long Lartin jail have been forced by the gangs to stop playing "Western" music and take down pictures of women from their cells, according to one former prison officer there. Prisoners at the jail, although allowed to cook their own food, are not allowed to prepare pork for fear of offending the Muslim inmates, the officer said.

The officer, speaking to Radio Five Live's Donal Macintyre show, told how younger prisoners were targeted for forced conversion to Islam by the gangs. "They went along because they were intimidated. They genuinely weren't of the Muslim faith," she said. "I knew one lad quite well, who was approached by the radical Muslims and he changed. He was being controlled and bossed around and he wasn't even allowed to look at me or speak to me.

"He just seemed very frightened all the time. He used to be forced to pray at certain times and he was even forced to grow a long beard even though he didn't want to."

One Catholic prisoner who refused to convert was seriously assaulted after being repeatedly threatened by the gang, the officer said. "He said every so often they would come to his cell and hold the Koran up through the small window in the cell door and start running their fingers along their throats," she said.

Hundreds of powerful US “bunker-buster” bombs are being shipped from California to the British island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean in preparation for a possible attack on Iran.

The Sunday Herald can reveal that the US government signed a contract in January to transport 10 ammunition containers to the island. According to a cargo manifest from the US navy, this included 387 “Blu” bombs used for blasting hardened or underground structures.

Experts say that they are being put in place for an assault on Iran’s controversial nuclear facilities. There has long been speculation that the US military is preparing for such an attack, should diplomacy fail to persuade Iran not to make nuclear weapons.

Although Diego Garcia is part of the British Indian Ocean Territory, it is used by the US as a military base under an agreement made in 1971. The agreement led to 2,000 native islanders being forcibly evicted to the Seychelles and Mauritius.

The Sunday Herald reported in 2007 that stealth bomber hangers on the island were being equipped to take bunker-buster bombs.

Complete segregation is the only way to stop this type of intimidation.

Non Muslim prisoners must feel like the Christians in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and other Muslims countries...tormented, assaulted, harrassed, threatened and often beaten and killed..

Yeah, right. If morality alone is to be used to decide which religion is nearer to God (and therefore, true), then it is almost certain that Mohammed is being roasted in the everlasting fires of Jesus's divine fury as we speak.

Jesus's moral uprightness is respected by educated people of every imaginable faith and even those with no faith. Ghandi respected Him, and Albert Einstein said that you could not read the New Testament without feeling His presence.

Mohammed has had the exact opposite reception, being despised by Thomas Jefferson and, I imagine, educated people the world over. It is long past time for us to acknowledge publicly that Islam is a blight on the world, the surest moral guide to the gates of Hell, and a murderous, belligerent religion far beneath human dignity.

I hate Islam with every fiber of my being. Those who have a choice of religions and seek after this faith are sick in the head.
