Naturally, a Democrat invited him to pray before the Va. House of Delegates. Here's a novel idea: Before politicians start inviting imams to pray in state capitols, why don't they take two minutes to do a Google search?...
RICHMOND, Va. -- A prayer this week before the Virginia House of Delegates sparked controversy and a protest. An imam from a controversial northern Virginia mosque gave the invocation, and there are concerns that the Muslim leader has radical Islamic connections.
Imam Johari Abdul-Malik, director of community outreach in Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, opened the daily session of the Virginia House of Delegates with a prayer.
"In the name of the divine, holy and creative force in our lives," Abdul-Malik said in his prayer.
The Muslim leader's appearance upset several lawmakers.
"I'm going to be somewhere else, saying the Lord's Prayer," said Del. John Cox, R-55th District. "It's just not something that I feel I can condone as an individual."
It is who the imam has condoned in the past that has lawmakers like Del. Todd Gilbert, R-15th District, wondering why Del. Adam Ebbin, D-49th District, invited him to pray.
Ebbin declined to talk to CBN News prior to the session, saying he was late. However, in a letter to fellow lawmakers, he wrote that Abdul-Malik is well-known for opposing terrorism.
But Gilbert is not so sure of the imam's loyalties.
"This particular imam and this particular mosque that he represents have had some very troubling associations and troubling teachings over the years, and that's where my concern lies," Gilbert said. "He, himself has called Zionism racist."
Gilbert said Abdul-Malik's mosque is known in some circles as the "9/11 mosque" because two of the hijackers were based there prior to the 9/11 attacks and were counseled by a radical imam.

They have Imams doing prayers in the House of Representatives in Washington, probably the Senate also, not sure about the Senate.

Tolerance run amok. Do they not know the difference in a moderate Muslim and a radical Muslim? Do they care?
I think they are using Muslims to help them in their "fundamental change" of this country, but will try to throw them under the bus when the job is done. Throwing them under the bus later might not be as easy as they think, though.

Let the enemy commander conduct recon on your position. In fact, your leaders give the the guided tour.
We used to call this treason. You know, back when Americans had common sense.

We need to go beyond the obvious facts re that particular imam and his mosque and understand the larger theological and political implications of inviting Muslims to pray at sessions of our local, state and federal government bodies:
The Doctrine in Islam of Sacred Space holds that, wherever Muslims have prayed, or wherever they have established the Islamic rule of Sharia, that place becomes, remains, or must be retaken, as part of the Islamic community. It is a manner of establishing territorial influence, rights (sharia) and, eventually, domination.
This includes whole countries like Spain where Muslims ruled for about 700 years (al-Andalus). I tried explaining this years ago to an English Catholic friend who told me of the RC Cardinal of Westminster Cathedral (London) arranging a concert "dedicated to the 99 Names of Allah" in his Cathedral. The friend thought I was being too rigid in stating that this doctrine is still in operation (!) and I'm certain the Cardinal had no theological clue at all about Islam in any aspect. The point IS, this 'doctrine of sacred space' matters to Muslims and they have stated through the Muslim Brotherhood (which is the founder of every major Muslim organization in America) that their "work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."
